The opportunity…


The Product Specialist-Surgical Microscope role is an exciting new role due to growth in sales across this portfolio.  Working closely with our Ophthalmic Diagnostic and Surgical Team, as well as our theatre integration and project management teams, you will be selling world class Haag Streit Surgical Microscopes across various Surgical Disciplines and environments such as Ophthalmology, ENT, Dental, Neuro and Spinal surgery.

You will be integral to the development of this portfolio and exploring new markets and opportunities across Australia. This role will have National focus and from time to time you will be required to travel and support trials in Hospitals, working closely with the support of our surgical team across the country.

Together with the Portfolio Product Manager and National ales Manager, you will develop and initiate marketing activities to build a pipeline of business opportunities that will sustain long term sales growth in the Australian market.


About you…

Experience required:

·         Minimum 2 years’ experience selling Capital Equipment, ideally surgical microscopes in a medical or hospital environment OR

·         Minimum 5 years relevant in theatre clinical experience;

·         Current valid driver’s license

·         Relevant tertiary qualifications in the sciences – degree or similar.

·         Strong written and verbal skills

·         Ability to work collaboratively with others and autonomously as required

·         Competency in using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

·         Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends
