Orthoptist – Permanent Part Time

Casey Eye Centre, located in Narre Warren, is looking for an enthusiastic Orthoptist to join our growing practice.

The role is offered as a permanent part time position consisting of a minimum of 20 hours/week.

Days required are:
Monday (all day)
Tuesday (all day)
Thurs am
Alternate Friday am

Flexible hours required. There may also be more sessions available as the patient base continues to grow.

The applicant must be a proactive team player with excellent communication skills and demonstrates the ability to work autonomously in a busy environment.

Great attention to detail, fluent computer literacy, excellent time management. strong interpersonal skills and a high level of professionalism are key in being successful in this role.

Duties include:
Heidelberg OCT with FFA
Optos
Lenstar Biometry
Humphrey VF
Assisting the Practice orthoptists in maintaining stock levels, management of Anti-VEGF patients and scripts and other duties as required.

A Bachelor of Science Degree in Orthoptics as well as current registration with the AOB is essential.

Experience would be welcomed, however new graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided in all duties.
