Orthoptist

A full time permanent position is available at our practice in Adelaide.

Eyemedics is a fast paced well-established Specialist Ophthalmology Practice at Wayville, Morphett Vale and Glenelg. We are seeking an enthusiastic Orthoptist to  join our friendly team on a full time basis. Your professional manner; initiative and attention to detail will help you secure this role.

Scope of work:

HVF testing
Cirrus OCT
FFA & ICG photography
IOP measurements
Biometry both IOL Master and contact ultrasound,
Pentacam
Paediatric and adult strabismus assessments including synoptophore and
Hess screen testing
Assisting with minor procedures – intravitreal injections

This is a diverse role, with the right person; there is opportunity to further develop your skills through on going professional development. Ophthalmic experience is not essential, as Eyemedics will provide all training. This role is a full time position rostered over 5 days per week. You must be available to work during our clinic operating hours of 7.30am – 6pm Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor in Orthoptic and Ophthalmic
sciences or Master in Orthoptic or equivalent. You must also have a current Police Clearance and drivers license.
