The Role
We currently have an opportunity for a talented Orthoptist to join our team based at Victoria Park. This is a permanent opportunity, working 37.5 hours per week.

You will provide effective, efficient and responsive orthoptic services to meet the needs of both adults and children through enabling them to better understand their eye condition and providing them with the right support to maximise the use of their functional vision through the provision of various aids and assistive technology.

To be considered for the role, you will need:
• A tertiary qualification in Orthoptics, eg, Bachelor of Orthoptics, Master of Orthoptics;
• Valid registration with the Australian Orthoptic Board;
• Previous experience in a similar role within the Disability Sector and or Health sector will be highly desirable;
• Excellent communication and liaison skills as this role requires you to work within an interdisciplinary team and liaise with clients;
• Previous experience in paediatrics will be highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be required to provide a current National Police Clearance prior to commencing employment and obtain an NDIS check.
