Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Territory Manager (South Australia) in our optometry/ophthalmology Diagnostic Equipment and Consumables portfolio.

The Company

Paragon Care is an ASX listed company that operates in the high growth health and aged care sector. More specifically, the company’s focus is to be a key provider of specialist medical products and niche services to this sector.

The Position

We are looking for a Territory Manager on a 12-month contract commencing in October to sell and promote the Designs For Vision diagnostic portfolio within South Australia. The core focus of the role will be on building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Effective and efficient territory management
  • Representing Paragon Care and their Product portfolio to all new and existing customers
  • Assessing customer needs and recommending products accordingly, providing quotes and technical information as required
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships with clients
  • Gaining and improving sales for diagnostic products and consumables within your territory
  • Launch new products as they are released by suppliers
  • Monitor customers’ changing needs and competitor activity
  • Company reporting and customer care including submitting quotes in a timely manner
  • Submit weekly plans and monthly reports on time
  • Identify sales opportunities, develop/implement strategies and close sales
  • Professional territory management through utilisation of time and resources with excellent planning
  • Follow all established Company and Territory Sales Policies

Qualifications and Experience required for this role:

  • Clinical qualifications in business or science (Orthoptics / Optometry) desirable
  • Understanding of Optometry and/ or Ophthalmology practices
  • Experience using diagnostic equipment advantageous
  • Ability to develop strong client relationships, across our various client stakeholders
  • Sales experience and demonstration of running a successful territory desirable
  • Fluent written and verbal English skills
  • Sound Microsoft Office skills
