Full Time Orthoptist

Envision Eye Centre is a boutique ophthalmology practice located in Sydney CBD and at Darlinghurst within the St Vincent’s Clinic.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and diligent orthoptist with great customer service skills to join our team.

Our principal specialty is Refractive Surgery. Candidates must show a keen interest in this area on application.

Our Laser suite located on Macquarie Street is equipped with State of the art technology.Including the ZEISS Visumax and Schwind lasers.

The practice is multidisciplinary, with various sub-specialties including General Ophthalmology, cornea, adult squint,inflammatory diseases, Oculoplastics and Cataract surgery.

The suitable candidate would thrive in a busy environment with a real focus on patient satisfaction.

Duties will include but not be limited to:
– General patient assessment including: history taking, IOP measurements, subjective refraction
– Pentacam
– Visual Field
– Biometry: IOL- Master 700
– Applanation tonometry
– IOL calculations and Laser programming.
– Operate the Femtosecond and Excimer Lasers
– Assisting with the general running of the clinic
– Assist in minor ops including collagen cross linking
– Assist with IVT

Experience is preferred however new graduates with a keen interest in refractive are also encouraged to apply as on the job training will be provided.
