Ophthalmic Technician / Assistant

Harley Eye Clinic is a busy eye specialist practice and we are seeking a confident individual to join the friendly team at our Glenelg rooms.

Initially a casual position leading to permanent part-time of approx. 25 – 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The successful applicant must be able to effectively prioritise in a busy multi-task environment along with the strong ability to work independently or as part of a team.

You will need to be available for an early start or a late finish.  We ask that you be flexible and willing to cover for sick and holiday leave at either our Glenelg or North Adelaide clinic.

Duties will include:-

• Standard ophthalmic patient workup
• Visual field testing and OCT scanning
• Ordering drugs and consumables
• Assisting in the post-operative care of patients
• Liaising with hospitals and anaesthetists
• Administrative tasks as required

Computer literacy is essential with exposure to Zedmed an advantage.
