Key Responsibilities: Plan work to achieve sales revenue targets for defined territory. Responsible for gaining an understanding of the drivers of change for an account to adopt the opportunity – accountable for framing the opportunity within the account to the customers perspective and aligning the internal resources to support the change management activities. Through selling activity deliver on our promises, solve problems and eliminate concerns. Provide insight into the link between our selling offer and the customers tension gaps – establish a clear reason WHY and a DESIRE for change. Effective execution of marketing and launch plans Assist the overall surgical team by promoting the surgical range of products when in the OR with a particular focus on IOLs. Where required, provide education effectively to all clinical end users and hospital staff. Responsible for building positive partnerships with our customers, continuously identifying where we can add value, support through OR time, and expand our business offering. Adherence to company procedures for samples and demonstration equipment Achieving Equipment Financing Agreement (EFA) performance targets Service customer enquiries promptly and referring to management if assistance is required, and maintain close communication with the local account team members, including Field Service engineer (FSE) and Clinical Application Specialist (CAS). Build subject matter expertise in ophthalmology. Attend congresses, seminars, trade displays and other promotions as required.
Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in orthoptics, science or business Demonstrable track record developing and executing business plans, goal setting and team building, performance management Strong Analytical skills to discover business insight and opportunities Strong desire and ability to learn technical knowledge Understanding of the MTAA code of practice Strong understanding of ophthalmic procedures and product technology Applicants need to have full Australian work rights.
