Experienced Orthoptist/ Ophthalmic Technician/New Graduates

Orthoptist/Ophthalmic Technician required full time/part time Monday to Friday to work with our team delivering optimal patient care. Our Ophthalmologist’s main interests are Retinal, Cataract and Oculoplastics.

Key requirements for this position:

To work as part of a team and autonomously
Reliable, efficient and able to work under pressure
Ability to prioritize daily schedules and maintain work flow of busy clinics
Exceptional customer service skills and friendly, positive attitude
Preferred experience with ophthalmic imaging equipment or willingness to learn is essential
Flexible approach to work hours
Roles and responsibilities

To set up and assist the Ophthalmologist in all aspects of patient care to enable efficient and effective patient management
Patient assessments and  recording medical history
Supporting and assisting the doctors with minor procedures, Oculoplastics procedures and injection set ups
A wide range of digital imaging and screening using specialized equipment
Research capabilities and maintaining medical stock supplies
This role requires an experienced individual with the ability to work  in a busy and professional team environment with a group of Specialists dedicated to providing excellence in eye care.
