Optometrist / Orthoptist

We are looking for an Optometrist interested in expanding there clinical Knowledge by gaining experience in a busy Ophthalmologist clinic. An opportunity to visit Outreach clinics and
working alongside visiting retinal and corneal specialists.

Occasional orthoptist roles:

1/7 post-ops
1/52 post-ops
Cataract workups (consultation, biometry, pentacam, specular microscopy, Lens calculations).

Optometry roles:

Diabetic reviews
Glaucoma reviews
1/12 post-ops (cataracts, pterygium, blepharoplasty, retinopexy, istents, SLTs, PI’s etc.),
Walk-in emergencies requiring same day referral to an Ophthalmologist
Reviewing a variety of other conditions (macular oedema, corneal oedema, epiretinal membranes, choroidal naevi etc.)
You will be supported by an extensive team of other optometrists, Ophthalmic technicians and nurses as well as admin staff.

Clinic hours are Monday to Friday.
