ORTHOPTIST / OPHTHALMIC ASSISTANT- Full time

Retina Associates-Chatswood is looking for a motivated individual who is able to work as part of a team, and is keen to develop further skills.

Retina Associates-Chatswood is one of the Sydney’s largest and most experienced ophthalmology practices specializing in diagnosis, treatment and surgery for diseases affecting the retina, macula, and vitreous. The clinic is consisting of 13 subspeciality-trained retinal specialists, highly skilled group of orthoptists, ophthalmic assistants and administrative staff.

Duties include patient screening, retinal photography/ angiography, OCT scans, handling patient enquiries, surgical bookings, and assisting with photodynamic and intravitreal therapies.

The successful candidate will have a professional manner with patients, a mature outlook, excellent telephone skills, professional presentation, high levels of communication and customer service skills. You will need to have attention to detail and be a team player. Computer literacy is essential.

Further training & supervision will be provided and new graduates are encouraged to apply
