Ophthalmic Technician

We are looking for a Casual Ophthalmic Technician for an Immediate Start for an ongoing position to work up to 2-3 days per wk.

Our roster is for a 4 week rotating cycle with 3 full clinic weeks and 1 less busy clinic week. This will be explained further in interview.

We are a single doctor practice and require someone who is multi-skilled therefore we are seeking a Technician who can also work as Receptionist and carry out Admin tasks. These Admin tasks could also be increased for the suitable candidate.

The clinic is fast paced so we need a candidate who thrives on being busy and can work under pressure when necessary whilst maintaining a calm composure and who enjoys being part of a well trained, friendly and cohesive team.

The remuneration would be paid at a Technician/Reception Award Rate under the Health Professionals & Support Services Award.
