Orthoptist, clinical assistant, ophthalmic nurse

Canberra Eye Surgeons are currently seeking 2 full time Orthoptists, clinical assistants or Ophthalmic nurses to join our Practice located in Deakin ACT

These 2 roles will be supporting 4 Ophthalmologists in a modern, dynamic and busy environment.

• Cataract assessments & testing
• General Ophthalmology
• Corneal
• Glaucoma
• MD
• Consultation with the patient to carry out screening, tests and medical history
• Ability to be able to answer patient queries under supervision of the Ophthalmologist
• Perform diagnostic testing include Visual Fields, OCT’s, A Scan Biometry
• Assisting Ophthalmologist with patient procedures and treatments including intraocular injection

 The roles will be full time, with rostered hours between Monday to Friday.

     Previous experience or training in the Ophthalmic field is desirable
