Orthoptist – On the Border

Eyeclinic Albury Wodonga is seeking the services of 1 or 2 Orthoptist to move to the region and join our team of Orthoptists, General Ophthalmologists, Retinal Specialists and a Paediatric Ophthalmologist as well as Research, Nursing and Administration Staff.
Our region offers the opportunity to build an enviable lifestyle with easy access to ski fields, wine regions, and a wide range of outdoor pursuits. All this while being only a few hours from Melbourne by road, and being well connected to air travel infrastructure.
Our busy, modern, purpose built clinic is equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment and diagnostic resources are fully integrated into our computer systems.

About the Position
• Would suit a new graduate or an experienced Orthoptist
• Part time or Full time hours considered
• Funded educational opportunities (i.e. conferences)
• Supportive Team Environment
• Variety in the role with exposure to a wide range of eye conditions and Research Studies

Duties will include
• Computerized Clinical note taking
• Vision / Refraction assessment
• Squint / Ocular Motility assessment
• OCT
• Biometry
• Visual fields
• Corneal Topography
• Retinal Photography (colour fundus photos and angiography)
• Participation in clinical research trials
