| Job Description | Bundaberg Eye Clinic is a locally owned and operated Ophthalmology practice in Bundaberg Queensland. We are seeking a professional experienced optometrist to join our team to work alongside and act as clinical support for our Ophthalmologists. What we offer • Full time or Part time • Wage depends on experience (reviewed annually) + super • Relocation allowance (where applicable) • Flexible hours available • No weekend work • Closed 2 weeks over Christmas • Conference Leave • Payment of conference fees The Role • Primarily patient consultations, including but not limited to; new patients, follow up appointments, post operative reviews, urgent appointments • Create and maintain medical records • Manage clinical enquiries • Train clinical assistants • Provide education to patients • Attend meetings held by Bundaberg Eye Clinic, assist in creation of presentations • Manage theatre lists • Manage dry eye clinics About you • High standard of technical ability • Demonstrated commitment to quality patient care • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Undertakes accurate and efficient data entry • Demonstrated flexibility within the work environment; ability to adapt to changing conditions • Bachelor of Optometry or equivalent • Registered with AHPRA and therapeutically endorsed Please apply via email manager@bundabergeyeclinic.com.au visit https://bundabergeyeclinic.com.au/ to find out more about us |
