Orthoptists – Ensure to register with AOB

Orthoptists if you are not registered with the AOB (Australian Orthoptic Board) please ensure you do, since if you are not registered this may significantly decrease your chances at securing great Orthoptic positions when applying for Orthoptist jobs.

Even though its not compulsory for Orthoptists to register with the AOB (Australian Orthoptic Board) remember majority of Orthoptists ARE registered these days. Some work places specifically require that the Orthoptist is AOB registered.

The AOB ensures sufficient CPD points are maintained by Orthoptists, allowing Orthoptists to sustain professional knowledge, update their practising skills, ensuring the highest quality care is provided for patients –  definitely a good look on your CV!
