Senior Orthoptist Wanted

We are looking for a Senior Orthoptist with a minimum of 2 years experience to join our team here at Nepean Valley Eye Surgeons (NVES).

NVES is a highly professional Retinal and General Ophthalmic specialist eye clinic with state-of-the-art equipment.

Your primary duties will include but are not limited to the following:

–       High level support to our team of Ophthalmologists

–       Pre-Operative and Post Operative Patient Clinics

–       Dry Eye Assessments

–       Independent Orthoptist Clinics

–       Teaching and Training

–       Meeting patients and providing an overview of the process for their visit.

–       Patient screening

–       Perform diagnostic testing using specialist equipment.

–       Assist with minor procedures including Intravitreal Injections, Chalazions, Entropion/Ectropion repair, Biopsy

–       Keeping up to date with current practices and recording work activities as part of continuing professional development.
