Our practice will be opening in November and we are seeking an amazing Healthcare receptionist with excellent organisation and administrative skills to join the team on a part-time basis (2-3 days per week).  This position would suit someone who is looking to really sink their teeth into the healthcare industry, who is open to trying something different, tech savvy and comfortable working with patients from all walks of life.

You will be supporting an excellent Consultant Ophthalmologist with subspeciality training in Oculoplastic, Orbital and Lacrimal Surgery and Ocular Oncology, to build and grow a beautiful new practice in this space.

Duties and responsibilities

As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for facilitating the flow of patients into and out of the medical practice. You will be the first point of contact and a representative of our practice.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Coordinating patient bookings;
Communications (responding to phone calls and emails);
Handling billings;
General office administration;
Re-stocking;
Using your creativity and experience to create more efficient medical processes and procedures;
Provide excellent service to patients on the phone and in person

What we are looking for

Someone with the ambition to grow with the practice
Someone who has worked as a medical receptionist before and is looking to take their skills to the next level

Someone who is tech-savvy, comfortable to using and learning new software
Pro-active and initiative seeking personality
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
