Orthoptist

Our ophthalmology practice, with clinics in Hurstville and Miranda, is seeking a permanent part time orthoptist.

The successful applicants will work closely with our 9 ophthalmologists as part of a team committed to providing the highest quality patient care. Ideal attributes include strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The primary duties are clinical and include orthoptic work up / patient screening, diagnostic testing (visual fields, OCT, biometry, pachymetry) and assisting with minor procedures.

With active ongoing clinical trials the positions also have an integrated opportunity to be involved in research.

A willingness to assist the administration staff is an integral part of our team environment.
