| Job Description | ORTHOPTIST, An Orthoptist is required to join an established single doctor ophthalmology practice in Crows Nest. The role is Part-Time. 4 Days per Week are currently on offer – however we are happy to offer less or flexible days, on a part-time or casual basis, depending on candidate availability. New graduates as well as experienced orthoptists or ophthalmic assistants and nurses are welcome to apply. Hours are 08:30am till 5:00pm. Pay rate is negotiable, dependent on experience. The role primarily involves general orthoptic and ophthalmic assistant tasks in the workup of patients during clinic. An ability to assist with clinic administrative tasks at other times is also important. Attractions include a very pleasant and relaxed working environment, close to transport links, with friendly staff, and an easy to work with doctor. Good communication skills with patients, and a responsible and reliable attitude are vital. |
