Practice Manager

An exciting opportunity has become available for a full-time Practice Manager who will be working alongside 4 ophthalmologists and our staff including orthoptists, ophthalmic technicians, and medical receptionists. You will become part of our cohesive and friendly team with highly supportive specialists who will value your contribution to the clinic.

The role

The role involves oversight of the day-to-day running of the practice. We are looking for someone to provide high level support to our ophthalmologists, clinical staff, and administration team to ensure smooth running of the clinics.

Some of the responsibilities include:-

• Preparing staff rosters and HR duties including performance management and recruitment
• Liaising with hospitals, optometrists, GPs and other health providers
• Hospital bookings
• Ad hoc orthoptist and reception duties
• Compliance, regulatory and service contract oversight of staff, facility, and equipment
• Accounts payable and receivable

About you

• Strong team management skills
• Highly proficient computer literacy (MS Office Suite, VIP.net desirable)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Time management skills and the ability to prioritise
• Ability to work independently and autonomously
