**** REVISED : Experienced orthoptist, optometrist, ophthalmic nurse

•   Initial clinical assessment and work up of patients
•   Use of diagnostic imaging equipment including Visual Field Analyser, IOL Master,  OCT, OPTOS
•   Assist doctor with minor procedures (injections, chalazions)
•   Efficiently managing the flow of patients/clinic
•   Clinical stock management
•   Attend to patient needs
•   Cleaning and restocking of clinical areas

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Required Qualifications:

•   Degree in Optometry, Orthoptists or Nursing
•   Strong communication skills, both verbal and written,
•   Customer service skills
•   Ability to prioritise while handling multiple tasks is required
•   High attention to detail and data entry
•   Ability to work with a diverse client base
•   Ability to work in a dynamic environment, both autonomously and as part of a team.
•   Experience in an ophthalmology environment
•   Experience with medical software such as Best Practice VIP, Genie or similar.
