ORTHOPTIST

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Orthoptist to work closely with a busy Ophthalmologist 1-2 days a week in the Sunbury area.
Clinical Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Initial/follow up assessment and testing of general ophthalmic conditions
• Working alongside the Clinician to help manage their patient load
• Assisting in Imaging Department
• Assisting in minor procedures such as intravitreal injections
• Assisting in ordering of supplies & items required for consultation

Applicants should ideally possess:
• Tertiary Qualifications in Orthoptics
• Registered member with the AOB
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills in Orthoptic assessments and the provision of services
• Ability to work across all eye specialties
• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary team
• Excellent interpersonal skills
