Central Sydney Eye Surgeons is seeking a motivated and team-oriented full time Orthoptist/Ophthalmic Assistant to join our dynamic practice. This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your skills and work in a collaborative environment in a multi-subspecialty ophthalmology practice. Our Surgeons subspecialises in Cataract surgery, Refractive surgery, Corneal, Oculo-plastics, Glaucoma, Uveitis, Medical Retina, and Surgical Retina.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Patient Screening / surgical counselling
• Diagnostic Imaging & Testing
  • Autorefraction and Keratometry
  • Cirrus OCT and OCT Angiography
  • Fundus Photography
  • Fluorescein Angiography
  • Anterior Segment Photography
  • IOL Master 700 Biometry
  • Pentacam Corneal Topography
  • Humphrey Visual Field Testing
• Assisting in Minor Procedures and Intravitreal Injections
• Reception/Administrative Support at least 1-2 days a week:
  • Managing patient calls and appointment bookings
  • Assisting with surgical bookings coordinating surgery lists

Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team and demonstrate attention to detail.

Further training and supervision will be provided.
