Orthoptist / Optometrist / Clinical Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic part-time or full time orthoptist / optometrist / clinical technician to join our team at a busy 5 Ophthalmology Practice.

Practice Specialties include:
• Cataract assessment and treatment
• Glaucoma Management
• Medical Retina
• General Ophthalmology

Orthoptist responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• OCT
• Humphrey Visual Field Testing (HFA3)
• Biometry (IOL Master 700)
• Clarus Fundus Photography
• Setting up and assisting with minor surgical procedures including intravitreal injections
• Some administration duties including surgical preparation and drafting correspondence
• Answering patient enquiries

Position requirements:
• An Orthoptics qualification or optometry or other
• Effective time management, priority management and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated written, verbal and interpersonal skills
