Orthoptist or Ophthalmic Assistant or Optometrist required for the following dates & hours ….

* NOTE: Still express interest if can only work one day OR partial hours

09/02/2026 (MON) (8am-4pm)

10/02/2026 (TUES) (8am-3:30pm)

Tests to perform / Clinical Responsibilities:

• Initial clinical assessment and work up of patients
• Use of diagnostic imaging equipment including Visual Field Analyser, IOL Master, OCT, OPTOS
• Assist doctor with minor procedures (injections, chalazions)
• Efficiently managing the flow of patients/clinic
• Attend to patient needs

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Optometry, Orthoptists or Nursing
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written,
• Customer service skills
• Ability to prioritise while handling multiple tasks is required
• High attention to detail and data entry
• Ability to work with a diverse client base
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment, both autonomously and as part of a team.
• Experience in an ophthalmology environment
• Experience with medical software such as Best Practice VIP, Genie or similar.

** NOTE: Still express interest if unable to perform all tests / tasks comfortably…
