About us:

The Ophthalmology team is a specialised service within Specialist Outpatients that provide general ophthalmology services including all those duties which are generally considered within the scope of general ophthalmology.

About the role:

·         Undertake referral management in support of Ophthalmologist.

·         Deliver as part of a multidisciplinary team, sound independent evidenced based Orthoptic services across single or multiple modalities within the Ophthalmology Team.

About you:

·         The successful applicant must hold a tertiary degree qualification (or equivalent diploma prior to 1990) in Orthoptics and registration with the Australian Orthoptic Board.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $132,567 p.a. is comprised of:

• An hourly rate between $43.68 – $58.59 p.h.

• 12.75% employer superannuation contribution

• 17.5% leave loading
